Advent in Aughadarragh
This week, our school community began the season of Advent, a special time of preparation and reflection. Our Primary 7 pupils created a beautiful Advent wreath and shared their understanding of Advent with the other KS2 pupils, helping everyone to think about its importance as a time to prepare for Christmas.
On Monday, the Primary Threes and Fours led us in a thoughtful and reflective assembly to mark the beginning of Advent. It was a prayerful gathering where the whole school came together to listen, watch, and pray, as we reflected on the meaning of this season.
As we journey through Advent, we hope to offer gifts that really matter, our time, our talents, and our kindness, to our friends, families, and all those around us. These are the gifts that make Christmas special.
