As part of our PDMU curriculum, our theme for May was Eco, and what a wonderful month it was. With the fantastic weather on our side, we enjoyed celebrating our shared planet through a range of outdoor activities. Our KS2 pupils took part in an Energy Saving Day, keeping electrical usage to a minimum, completing a local litter pick, and finishing with a fun and competitive eco quiz. They collected an impressive amount of rubbish and reflected on why it’s so important to keep our community clean. Across the school, pupils also worked hard to look after our grounds through weeding, planting, and tidying our outdoor spaces. It was a month filled with sunshine, teamwork, and days spent enjoying nature at its best.
