First Holy Communion

Congratulations to our wonderful Primary 4 pupils on receiving their First Holy Communion this Saturday at St. Macartan’s Church. This was a special milestone in your faith journey, and we are so proud of how you all carried out your individual roles with confidence and maturity. 

We extend our sincere thanks to all the parents for the support, care and preparation you gave in the lead-up to this important day, which made the celebration all the more meaningful. A massive thank you to Canon McGahan for leading such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony.

We are also deeply grateful to all our staff who supported the children throughout the year, and especially to Mrs. McIlduff, our P4 teacher, for her dedication, guidance and commitment in preparing the pupils so thoughtfully for the sacrament.

Special thanks to Mrs. McGinley and Marina Mohan for leading our choir and musicians, whose beautiful music greatly enhanced the ceremony. We also wish to thank all the parents who helped prepare the community centre and provided refreshments afterwards. Your efforts created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

We hope this special day will remain a cherished memory for our P4 pupils, filled with happiness and pride for many years to come.
