Forest School in Knockmany for Primary 3 & 4
28th May 2026
We had a glorious day in the spectacular Knockmany Forest yesterday. We were attending a session with the Forest School and enjoyed every minute of it. Firstly, we were set a challenge; to create pictures of trees with whatever we could find and each team shared ideas and techniques. Then we helped to build a den, followed by river dipping. Amidst our findings we were able to identify various creatures and I wonder who collected the biggest number of the most popular little living thing, the freshwater shrimp? Have a look at our video to see who it was!
