Happy Mid-Term Break from P. 3 & P. 4!
This term has already reached the halfway mark and we have been busy! P. 3 have been measuring with lots of classroom objects and learning the skills of estimating or “clever guessing “ when we work with lengths and widths. Our outdoor activities involved looking around us and using our metre sticks for finding things which were shorter than, longer than or the same as 1 metre. Meanwhile, our P. 4s worked with their measuring tapes after their estimations were completed. Our topic has taken us to the Arctic circle and we are currently exploring Antarctica. Our little video can once again give you a snapshot of life in Aughadarragh. Have a well earned rest, everyone and remember to share “The Science of Kindness” and look after yourselves.
