This term, our P5 and P6 pupils have been taking numeracy beyond the classroom and into the great outdoors! From creating a giant human number line to hunting for 2D and 3D shapes around the playground, every challenge sparked teamwork and problem-solving. One highlight was the measure scavenger hunt, where pupils searched for real-life items that matched tricky criteria—like finding something between 1m and 2m long or thinner than 5mm! These activities helped bring numeracy to life and showed how maths is all around us!
