P1 & P2 Exploring in the Garden
Our P1 and P2 pupils have been making the most of the fresh air and natural surroundings by taking their learning outdoors into the garden. With plenty of curiosity and enthusiasm, the children have been busy digging, exploring, and discovering what's beneath the soil.
Armed with small tools and big imaginations, our pupils carefully dug into the soil to uncover wriggling worms, slugs, beetles, tiny stones and roots, which sparked lots of excitement and discussion.
Our young learners also took time to observe and record what they found. Using simple drawings and notes, pupils captured their discoveries, developing their observation skills and beginning to understand how to work like real scientists. It was a very engaging learning experience and we look forward to many more garden adventures!
