Our P7 pupils made history today as the first class from our school to visit St. Patrick's Purgatory on Lough Derg. The cold weather did not deter the excitement and enthusiasm as we enjoyed the boat trip and the retreat on this sacred island. The pupils were involved in art activities, prayers and songs in preparation for Confirmation at the end of the month. Thank you to Mary, Catherine and Canon Dawson who supported our faith journey and to Canon McGahan for organising our retreat.
