Our P3–P7 pupils had an amazing time on STEM Day 3 as they explored the fascinating world of floating and sinking. The day was packed with hands-on experiments and creative challenges that sparked curiosity and teamwork.
Firstly, young scientists tested different types of fruit to discover which would float and which would sink, with plenty of predictions and surprises! Then came the big challenge of designing and building boats. Pupils worked hard to create a boat that could carry the heaviest load without sinking. The excitement grew as we tested each design to see whose boat could hold the most weight.
