Our P5-P7 pupils enjoyed their fourth week of STEM workshops with Roy from Sentinus, focusing on the exciting theme of moving machines. During the session, pupils designed and built their own cars, tested them on a ramp, and measured how far they could travel. After an initial trial run, pupils were able to refine their design and retest, measuring distances and recording results!
To take things up a gear, some pupils experimented with adding motors to investigate the impact of this on speed and distance. It was fantastic to see everyone’s creativity, problem solving and teamwork! These budding scientists are really on the right track!
