Term 2 In Primary Three and Four

2nd Apr 2020

During Term 2, we learned about life in the Arctic and Antarctic. As one of our challenges we set about designing models, made from “junk”, which were based on our topic. We had to reuse items that would normally be thrown out, work with our families and proudly present  the finished products for our class to enjoy in Show And Tell sessions. As presenters, we described our plan, how we made our models and answered questions from our friends. This proved to be a great project, with impressive models and these future engineers and builders need to be congratulated for their work. Thank you to all the family members for their creativity and expertise! We experimented in our “blubber test”, using butter, food bags and lots of ice....who could hold their hands in the longest? Did the “blubber” work? As well as these studies, we had Shared Education Days, our class Feis on World Book Day and the Primary Fours celebrated their First Confession with Afternoon Tea. Congratulations to our Feis winners and Nessy wizards! Our Term ended very abruptly, but we are working at home, staying safe and please God, we will soon be back in our busy classroom all together again...the way we like it! Have a look at our pictures to see what we got up to....
