Term 3 in Primary 1 & 2
It has been a very busy and exciting term for Primary 1 and 2! We’ve taken every opportunity to learn outdoors, especially during our topic on Water. A highlight was a visit from Beth’s mummy, Tara, who works for Northern Ireland Water. She told us all about her job and helped us understand why water is so important for our health and daily lives.
We were delighted to welcome the children from Woodland Playgroup. Our pupils did a fantastic job helping them feel at home. We had fun exploring the Playgroup’s new sensory garden.
There was great excitement as we watched our brand new sensory cabin being lifted from a lorry and carefully placed in our playground by a huge crane!
Take a look at our video featuring highlights from this term’s activities. We’ve also included our Shenanigans Folk Dance performance- hope you enjoy it!
Finally, I would like to thank all the parents for their hard work, generosity, and kind words. You made my retirement tea party a truly special and memorable occasion. Thank you once again!
