As part of our Key Stage 2 Famine Topic, our pupils had a visit to the Ulster American Folk park today. They went back in time to rural Ireland in the 1840s, exploring Irish cottages, looking at school life and even boarding a ship to the ‘New world’. It was a very enjoyable morning.
