Last week, 14 ‘little acorns’ skipped through the gates of St. Patrick’s Aughadarragh to begin their primary school journey. Our Primary 1 children have settled into school life with great enthusiasm, meeting their teacher, Mrs Grimes, and their classroom assistants, as well as friends old and new. Although the rain has made an appearance, it certainly hasn’t dampened their spirits- our first few days have been filled with smiles, curiosity and excitement. We warmly welcome our P1 children and their families to our school community and look forward to watching our newest pupils grow and flourish in the year ahead.
